a boutique catering and floral studio rooted in local sourcing, thoughtful accommodations, and intentional design.
Inspired by folklore, the name Fae Folk references nature spirits — caretakers of the land and quiet defenders of the natural world.
That symbolism reflects the heart of this work.
We believe the best food and florals begin with respect for the land and the people who tend it.
Our approach centers on care: care for ingredients, care for guests, and care for the experience as a whole. We partner with small farms, producers, and makers who are passionate about their craft and their impact on their community, allowing us to create events that feel grounded, meaningful, and deeply personal.
Fae Folk is not about cookie-cutter menus or one-size-fits-all designs. It is about curating thoughtful moments —
celebrations shaped by season, place, and intention.
Our Relationship to Stormbrew Farm
Fae Folk grew from Stormbrew Farm, a working flower farm and community gathering space in
Abingdon, Virginia.
Stormbrew Farm remains the foundation —
a place where flowers are grown, events are hosted,
and the community is welcomed to slow down and connect with the land.
It is where the values behind Fae Folk were cultivated
and where much of this work first took shape.
Fae Folk exists as a dedicated home for our event-focused work:
wedding florals, catering, private dining, and curated gatherings.
While Stormbrew Farm and Fae Folk serve different roles, they share the same roots —
a commitment to local agriculture, community, and care.
About Daisy
Fae Folk is led by Daisy, founder and lead creative behind Fae Folk
and co-founder of Stormbrew Farm alongside her mother, Jenny.
A lifelong Appalachian (with the exception of a few sabbaticals),
Daisy is deeply invested in the region she calls home. Her work is guided by a belief in the potential of local food systems, small farms, and thoughtful collaboration.
Working closely with local growers and producers, Daisy brings a hands-on, intentional approach to both florals and food —
creating events that honor the land, the people behind the ingredients, and the moments being celebrated.
